In order to improve management level of China enterprises’ cognition level on business mental health service, increase managements’ awareness of modern enterprises humanities, develop a model business mental health service that fits China, increase utilization of psychological intervention among China enterprises, and lay a steady foundation for more efficient business functioning; the First International Forum of Employee Assistant Program was held by China International Exchange of Profession Association on June 3rd, 2005 in Beijing.

We invited the president of EAPA and senior professionals from several countries, and representatives from Fortune 500 companies to discuss the developmental status of EAP around the world. The discussion was focused on localization of EAP; providing a communication platform for government, business, scholars and media on harmonious development within China enterprises; nurturing excellent business management personnel and professional EAP service staff for China; creating a positive business psychological environment in China and making efforts in building a harmonious society.
